ANNUAL EMISSION STATEMENTS

The Federal Clean Air Act requires that states with designated ozone non-attainment areas gather Emission Statement data and compile the aggregated emissions from major sources annually. Emission Statement rules establish requirements for the annual reporting of emissions from stationary sources allowing the state to meet these requirements.

Emission statements must reflect accurate emissions of air contaminants from all sources at a facility. We utilize our knowledge of industries, associated processes, and technical references including EPA’s AP-42, CHIEF, TANKS, WATER9, webFIRE, etc. to prepare accurate and complete emission statements.

Our personnel have reviewed more than 4,800 emission statements and are fully trained to provide technical assistance and support to facilities with emission statement submittals.
