OPERATING PERMITS FOR MAJOR SOURCES
One of the major provisions of the 1990 Clean Air Act Amendments is the requirement under Title V for all facilities that are classified as “major stationary sources” of air emissions to apply for and obtain an operating permit covering all operations at the subject facility.
K2EC professionals have assisted clients across the country in preparing and submitting Title V permit applications. We can help clients obtain operating permits that satisfy the requirements of Title V while at the same time do not impose undue constraints on facility operations.
Beyond helping to prepare a permit application, K2EC staff assist clients in reviewing the terms and conditions of draft Title V permits, negotiating satisfactory terms with the regulatory agencies, and establishing means for tracking and ensuring on-going compliance with Title V requirements.
